The games will be played in the weeks between October 28th and November 4th. In total, 16 teams fight for the title that has the pot prize in Brazil’s competitions
The draw held at CBF headquarters, this Thursday morning, defined the matches in the country’s most democratic competition. The winner will receive 54 million reais (aprox. U$10M) for the title. Depending on the stage, the amount can exceed seventy-two million reais. América-MG, Atlético-GO, Botafogo, Ceará and Juventude are the ones that can get this value.
The teams that compete or disputed the Libertadores now start to compete in the tournament. They are: Athletico Paranaense, Corinthians, Flamengo, Grêmio, Internacional, Palmeiras, Santos and São Paulo. In addition, Bragantino, champion of 2019 B-series, Cuiabá, champion of 2019 Copa Verde and Fortaleza, champion of 2019 Copa do Nordeste, complete the list.
