The decisive phase will have three duels between Brazilians and Argentines.
The draw held at the headquarters of Conmebol, in Asunción, Paraguay, defined the clashes of the octaves. In the Brazilian and Argentine duel, the current champion Flamengo faces Racing, while Internacional will face Boca Juniors and Athletico-PR takes River Plate. The first round matches will take place on the week of the 24th and 25th of November, while the return games will be on the 1st and 2nd of December. The draw also defined the games until the final that will take place in Maracanã, at the end of January 2021.
