With two goals from Lewandowski, German team beat Al Ahly 2-0 and advance to final

Bayern Munich is the second finalist in the Club World Cup.  The team beat Al Ahly, from Egypt, 2-0, and now they face Tigres-Mex.  Robert Lewandowski was the executioner of the Egyptian team, which had the net stamped twice by the striker.  The best in the world opened the scoring in the 16th minute of the first half.  The African team was not intimidated and started up.  The Egyptians appeared very frequently in the offensive sector, mainly in the counterattacks.  However, the defensive quality of the European team meant that the chances were blocked.  At 40 minutes of the second stage, the top scorer expanded and enshrined the Germans’ victory.

The tournament decision will take place on Thursday, at 3 pm, Brasília time, at the Cidade da Educação Stadium, in Qatar.  This is the first time that a Mexican team has reached the final of a Club World Cup.  Bayern, on the other hand, will have the chance to win the second title, considering the title in 2013.

Despite the defeat, Al Ahly is back on the pitch also on Thursday.  Earlier, at 12h, the team faces Palmeiras, in the dispute for third place.

In addition to the world champion trophy, the top four receive a financial award.  FIFA pays the champion $ 5 million and $ 4 million for second.  The third place will receive $ 2.5 million, while the fourth will take $ 2 million home.
