Teams come packed with good winning streak at national championships
Atalanta and Real Madrid play at 17:00 GMT, at Atleti Azzurri d’Italia Stadium in Bergamo. The Italian team tries to break the record for the last participation in the Champions League, when the team advanced to the quarterfinals achieved for the first time in history such a feat.
With three wins in a row, but for five games they don’t know what losing is, Atalanta is going through a good moment of the season. Of these triumphs, two of them were against Napoli – with the qualification for the final of the Italian Cup – and eight goals scored. The team occupies only the fifth position in the Italian, outside the classification zone for the Champions 2021/22, but the current sequence is encouraging.
For the Champions, the Italians finish the first phase in the vice-leadership of group D, with 11 points. In six games, he recorded three wins, two draws and one defeat. For the duel soon, the team will not count on Hans Hateboer, injured.
Real Madrid is also packed with a good winning streak. The team has accumulated four consecutive games and reduced the distance to Atletico Madrid from eight to three points. For the next game, coach Zinedine Zidane comments with a list of absences: Carvajal, Odriozola, Sergio Ramos, Éder Militão, Marcelo, Valverde, Hazard, Rodrygo and Benzema.
