Even with one player less, Jacaré holds the advantage and takes trophy for the first time

Brasiliense is the champion of the Copa Verde edition 2020. In Mangueirão, in Belém do Pará, the team overcame Remo on penalties, by 5 to 4, after the victory of the hosts by 2 to 1 in normal time.  As the result was the same as in the first game, in Brasília, the decision was decided on penalties.  This was the first time that Brasiliense won the title in the competition, the third national achievement that the team takes to the gallery (Série C 2002 and Série B 2004), with only 20 years of history.

Remo took the lead with Fredson in the head, after a free kick for the area.  Right at the beginning of the second half, Zé love, also in his head, left everything the same.  On the Brasiliense side, Wargner Pereira was sent off after making a foul and taking the second yellow card.  In the collection, Rafael put the ball inside.  Remo pushed until the end, but the game ended up going to penalties, with Brasiliense getting the better of it.

With the unprecedented achievement, the club of the Federal District guaranteed an automatic place in the third phase of the 2021 Copa do Brasil, which already guarantees a prize of R $ 1.5 million, granted by CBF.  With this, Real Brasília, third in the 2020 edition of the Championship of the Federal District, inherits the vacancy in the first phase that previously belonged to Jacaré
