Olympics 2021: Brazilian men’s and women’s team meet opponents

Ceremony held on Wednesday defined clashes at the Tokyo games

The Olympics started. This Wednesday, Brazil met the opponents for the football tournaments at the Tokyo Olympic Games. In a draw held in the Japanese capital, the three teams that each team will have to face in the group stage of the Olympics were defined.

Current Olympic champion, the Brazilian men’s team will be in group D along with Germany, Côte d’Ivoire and Saudi Arabia. The national team will debut in Yokohama, on July 22, in front of the Germans. In the same stadium, Brazil will face Africans on the 25th. The end of the group stage will be on the 28th of July, against Saudi Arabia, in Saitama.

The debut clash of the Women’s Team will be against China, on July 21, in Miyagi. Brazil’s Olympic campaign continues on July 24, in front of the Netherlands, in the same city. The girls close the group stage against Zambia in Saitama on 27 July.
