Englishmen go in search of the second championship of the competition, already Spaniards try the unprecedented title
For the first time in history Villarreal is in the Europa League final. The Spanish team held the goalless draw against Arsenal, at the Emirates Stadium, in London, and secured the place in the decision, since in the first game the London team won by 2 to 1. It is the first time that Vilarreal has managed to reach so far in a continental competition. The team fell three times in the Europa League semifinals and once in the Champions League semi-finals.
The opponent of the Spaniards will be Manchester United, who despite the 3-2 defeat by Roma in the Italian capital, managed to qualify as in the first leg, they scored 6-2. Dzeko, Cristante and Zalewski scored for to Rome. For United, Cavani rocked the net on two occasions.
Manchester qualify for the second Europa League decision. Champion in 2017, the team goes in search of the second championship. Manchester United and Vilarreal will face each other on the 26th, in Gdansk, Poland to decide who gets the title. In addition to the trophy, the champion also guarantees a place in the group stage of the next edition of the European Champions League.
