Leader and runner-up duel will define first place for the eighth
After an overwhelming debut with a 9-1 rout over Vietnam, the Brazilian men’s futsal team returns to the court this Thursday to face the Czech Republic, in the second challenge for the World Championship, in Klaipeda, Lithuania, at 14:00 (Brasilia time). The duel is worth the lead in Group D, as in the first round the Czech Republic sold Panama 5-1.
Also on Thursday, Panama and Vietnam face off at 12:00 at the same Klaipeda Arena. On Sunday, for the last round, Brazil x Panama and Czech Republic x Vietnam will play, both duels at 10:00 am (GMT).
The first two of the bracket guarantee automatic classification to the round of 16. The four best thirds included in the six groups also advance.
