In the second friendly of the Brazilian women’s team against Argentina in Paraíba, another victory for the team led by Pia Sundhage. At Estádio Almeidão, in João Pessoa, Brazil won a rival by 4-1.
Kerolin scored the first of the Canarinhas. Also in the first half, Marta, from free kick, scored a great goal. On the way back from the break, Debinha extended the advantage. The Argentine team declined with Mariana Larroquette, but Brazil still had time to score the fourth and final goal of the match with Yasmin.
The Brazilian team had already beaten Argentina 3-1, on Friday, in Campina Grande. The two games marked the beginning of the new cycle of preparation for the women’s team, which will qualify for the 2022 World Cup, which will qualify for the 2023 World Cup. The next FIFA friendlies date will be in October, but the CBF does not announce opponents yet.
