Goiás team wins 4-2 and can now lose by up to a goal that still advances to the final
Aparecidense and ABC faced each other this Sunday at the Aníbal Batista de Toledo stadium, in Goiânia, in the first game of the semifinals of the Series D of the Brazilian Championship. The home team got the better of it and won 4-2.
In the 18th minute of the first half, after a corner choice, Suéliton headed it in and opened the scoring for ABC. At the end of the first half, also after a corner kick, with the head, Robert left everything the same. Then Aparecidense hit the net with Vanderley, but the defender was offside. The bid was therefore not validated.
In the 11th minute of the second half, Rafa Marcos scored the turning point for the hosts. Shortly after, Alex Henrique extended to Goiás’ time. ABC reduced the difference with a goal by Allan Dias in the 22nd minute of the second half. But, in the end, Samuel swung once more like the Potiguar team’s nets.
The two teams face each other again next Sunday (31), at Arena das Dunas, in Natal. Aparecidense can lose by up to one goal difference, which still qualifies for a final.
