In search of the title, São Paulo and Flamengo play the first game of the final of the Copa do Brasil U-17, this Tuesday (9). The ball rolls at 19:00 (GMT), at Morumbi. The return will be next Monday, at Raulino de Oliveira, in Volta Redonda, Rio de Janeiro.
Current champion, São Paulo reaches the final of the Copa do Brasil in the category for the fourth time. Tricolor passed through Santo Antônio-MS in the 1st phase, by thrashing the opponent by 14-0. In the round of 16 they eliminated Jacuipense, Fluminense in the quarters and Atlético MG in the semifinals. Now, Flamengo will be in the final, tormentor in the U-17 Brazilian Championship.
On the other hand, Flamengo passed Vasco-AC 12-0 in the 1st phase. The club also eliminated Gama in the round of 16, Cruzeiro in the quarterfinals and, finally, passed Palmeiras in the semis, beating the team in both games by 7-3 and 5-3, respectively.
