After 2-0 in the first leg, a 1-1 draw at Morumbi gives Colorado the title
The 2021 Brazilian Under-20 Championship belongs to Internacional. After winning the first leg, at home, by 2-0, Colorado held the advantage at Morumbi and won the title with a draw by 1-1 this Sunday morning.
Both goals came out in the first half. Matheus Dias opened the scoring for the Gauchos, and Pablo equaled for the hosts. This is the third time that Inter is national champion of the category – as others were in 2006 and 2013, but the first since the tournament was organized by the CBF, since 2015.
Now Inter faces Coritiba – Brazil U-20 Cup champion – in the Super Cup final. The single confrontation is scheduled for December 19th. A draw at the CBF headquarters will define the place of the match.
