Ceará plays the game of life against already relegated Avaí

It’s all or not for Ceará. Playing in Ressacada, in Santa Catarina, Vozão faces Avaí, at 19:00 (Brasília time), for the 37th round of the Brazilian Championship.

Avaí ended the series of consecutive defeats in the last round, but the draw against Santos did not prevent the team’s mathematical relegation. Now, the goal is to say goodbye to the fan with a good performance.

The Santa Catarina team has not lost players through suspension, but will have many absences by medical order: Cortez, Bressan, Pottker, Romulo, Bissoli, Raniele and Guerrero.

Meanwhile, Ceará aims to break the streak of victories in Serie A to continue dreaming of permanence. With 34 points, they need to beat Avaí and hope for stumbling blocks from Cuiabá and Atlético-GO. Juca Antonello’s team has only one triumph in the return of the national competition, won against Santos, on August 10, by 2 to 1.

Juca Antonello counts on the return of forward Mendoza, recovered from a muscle injury. However, Juca Antonello is missing seven athletes: Michel Macedo (knee ligament injury), Lucas Ribeiro (knee ligament injury), Messias (muscle injury), Rodrigo Lindoso (knee tendinitis), Diego Rigonato (muscle discomfort), Matheus Peixoto (physiotherapy treatment) and Zé Roberto (suspended).

Both Teams Score

Both teams must score the net in the match. Even if they are in a difficult situation in the Brazilian Championship. Namely, Avaí is already relegated, but plays in their domains. And Ceará is in a delicate situation, with little chance of escape.

Number of Goals Scored

Even if both teams score, the match had less than 2.5 goals. Since each of the teams scored 30 goals. Thus, they average less than one goal scored per match.
