Aparecidense is Series D champion

A 1-1 tie with Campinense guaranteed an unprecedented title in Goiás weather

Aparecidense is the champion of the D series of the Brazilian Championship. After the 1-1 draw against Campinense, at Aníbal Batista de Toledo, in Aparecida de Goiânia, Camelão lifted the first national achievement in the club’s 36-year history.

As the team from Goiás had won the first game by 1-0, they ended up with 2-1 in the aggregated scoreboard. The teams’ campaign was 13 wins, seven draws and four defeats. Besides him, Campinense, Atlético-CE and ABC also managed to gain access to the division and next year the four will be in Series C.
