Atlético-MG enters the field this Wednesday, at 21:30 (Brasília time), deciding a place in the next phase of the Copa Libertadores, against Carabobo, from Venezuela, in Mineirão.
As the first game ended with a score of 0 to 0, whoever wins qualifies for the third phase of the Copa Libertadores. If there is a new tie, the vacancy will be decided on penalties. Whoever wins between Atlético and Carabobo qualifies for the last stage before the groups, and still takes home US$ 600,000 (R$ 3.1 million at current prices).
The classified team will face the winner of the confrontation between Millionaires, from Colombia, and Universidad de Quito, from Ecuador. The two teams decide the vacancy this Thursday, after a tie (0 to 0) in the first leg.
Atlético-MG has two doubts in the lineup, except if Chacho Coudet comes up with surprises. On the right side, Renzo Saravia debuted and spent 90 minutes on the field against América-MG. He can paint as a starter, even if Mariano has more ballast.
In the defense, Bruno Fuchs is a sure embezzlement, and there is a dispute between Réver, Nathan Silva and Mauricio Lemos. In midfield, the Pedrinho-Edenilson-Patrick trio should stay ahead of Allan, with the Argentine Zaracho on the bench as an option. In the attack, Hulk comes back to double up with Paulinho.
Carabobo seeks an unprecedented classification. The team has never reached the third phase of the Libertadores, in three participations in the history of the tournament (one elimination in the 1st phase and two in the 2nd). For this, coach Juan Tolisano will have maximum strength at his disposal.
