Despite the eight cuts, the Brazilian team maintained the standard and shows all strength.

So far there have been four games with four wins. A promising start that placed the Brazilian team in the isolated leadership of the Qualifiers for the Qatar Cup 2022. The 2-0 victory against Uruguay, in Montevideo, showed the strength of the team, which had eight cuts since the start of the qualifiers games against Venezuela and Uruguay. Arthur and Richarlison scored for the amarelinha. Without Suárez, out due to positive result testing for Covid-19, the hope of the celestial team was Cavani. But the striker did not respond and, to make things worse,  was sent off in the middle of the second half.

The night was full of surprises in the fourth round of the qualifiers. Ecuador, playing at home, applied a historic 6-1 victory against Colombia. Venezuela won 2-1 against Chile in Caracas. In the other games, Paraguay drew 2-2 with Bolivia in Asunción and Argentina beat Peru 2-0 in Lima.

Brazil is the leader with 12 points. Argentina appears in the second position with 10, in third comes Ecuador with nine, and closing the group that guarantees a direct place for the world cup, Paraguay appears with six. Uruguay is in fifth place with the same score as Paraguay, but loses on goal difference. In sixth place comes Chile with four points, followed by Colombia also with four. Venezuela with three, Peru and Bolivia in last place with only one point each.

The ball rolls back at the World Cup Qualifiers only on March 25th. Brazil will face Colombia, in Bogotá.
