The Brazilian team returns to the field today, almost two months after the Copa América final, to face Chile for the 9th round of the Qatar 2022 World Cup Qualifiers. The match will be played at 10 pm (Brasilia time), at the Monumental Stadium in Santiago, in the Chilean capital.

Isolated leader of the tournament, Brazil is practically guaranteed for next year’s World Cup. Tite’s team has 100% success so far, with 18 points (six wins in six games). For the duel, coach Tite had to make a new call-up, after the English league decided to bar the calls of players from local teams, due to the pandemic. With that, nine players were left and the coach had to call new names.

With that, the starting lineup for the game of logo more is still a doubt. The trend is for Brazil to go into the field with Weverton, Danilo (Daniel Alves), Éder Militão, Marquinhos and Alex Sandro; Casemiro, Bruno Guimarães and Lucas Paquetá; Neymar, Gabigol and Matheus Cunha (Hulk).

The hosts are also absent due to English vetoes: defender Francisco Sierralta and forward Ben Brereton. Another casualty from injury is Alexis Sánchez. The team deposits the chips in the reference of Arturo Vidal and Vargas to get the better of the Brazilian team. Chile, occupied the 7th position in the table, with six points (one victory, three draws and two defeats). At the moment, Martin Lasarte’s team is out of the World Cup qualifying zone.

In total, Brazil will have three commitments on this September FIFA Date. In addition to Chile, the team still faces Argentina and Peru in this game window.
