Brazil returns to perform at Granja Comary, in Teresópolis

The team faces Venezuela and Uruguay for World Cup qualifiers.

Preparation for the third and fourth round of the Qualifiers for Qatar Cup 2022 has begun. Goalkeeper Wéverton and full-back Gabriel Menino, both from Palmeiras, arrived on Sunday night. Monday was marked by the arrival of the majority of athletes who joined the squad. The group will be complete today. The team stays at the Teresópolis training center (RJ) until Thursday when it embarks to São Paulo, where on Friday, it receives Venezuela, in Morumbi. Then the Selection travels to Montevideo to face Uruguay, on November 17th. Neymar, who is undergoing injury treatment may not be able to play with the team in the first game.

Brazil is the leader of the qualifiers with six points in two games, the same number as Argentina that only loses on goal difference. Colombia and Paraguay close the list of the first four who get a direct place in the world cup. In fifth place is Ecuador. Uruguay, Chile, and Peru are next. Venezuela and Bolivia appear in last place.
