Brazil needs to win and hope for an American stumble to be champion

Brazil and Canada enter the field, at 6 pm Brasília time, in Orlando, for the last round of the She Believes tournament.  The team occupies the second place with three points, the same score as the Canadians, who are behind due to the difference in goal difference.  So far, the team led by coach Pia Sundhage has won and lost in the tournament.  In the first match, they won 4 to 1 against Argentina.  In the second round, a 2-0 loss to the United States.

The Brazilian team should take advantage of the last commitment in the competition to make tests.  Kathellen and Antônia were injured during the tournament dispute and will not be able to play.  Cristiane can win Ludmila’s place in charge of the attack.

Like Canarinho without Luana and Formiga, the Canadian team also had to deal with important absences in the call.  Buchanan, Ashley Lawrence and Huitema were not released by their respective clubs and were out, as was the greatest scorer in the history of women’s teams, Christine Sinclair, out of action due to injury.

At 9 pm, it will be the USA’s turn to take the field to pick up the Argentine lantern.  The Americans play for a tie to get the title.
