Chelsea lose 1-0 to Porto, but qualify for the UCL semifinal

After four years, Blues are again among the top four in Europe

Back at the Ramón Sánchez Pizjuán Stadium in Seville, where the first game also took place, Porto beat Chelsea 1-0, but did not qualify. Despite the match being in the same place due to travel restrictions in Europe due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the criterion for an away goal remained. In addition to the final stage, Taremi scored a bicycle goal, but it was too late. As in the first game the English won 2-0, so it would be up to Porto to win by two or more goals difference.

Chelsea play in a Champions League semi-final again after seven years. The last time had been in the 2013/2014 season, when he did not reach the decision because he was eliminated by Atlético de Madrid. The Blues now await the winner of Real Madrid and Liverpool, who will face each other soon at Anfield.
