Corinthians and Santo André face off for Paulistao

Corinthians receives Santo André at the end of this Saturday afternoon, at 6:30 pm (Brasília time), at Neo Química Arena, for the twelfth round of the first phase of the Paulista Championship.

In the last round of the group stage, Timão tries to reach 22 points. Isolated leader of Group C, the team wants to maintain a high score in order to have advantage of deciding at home in a possible semifinal. Before, they will face São Bento, Ituano or Ferroviária in the quarterfinals.

Fernando Lázaro will spare at least three players in this round: Cássio, Adson and Roni, who were not even listed. The three players are hanging with two yellow cards and, if they were warned, they would miss the quarterfinals. The cards, it’s good to remember, are reset from the quarter-finals, which will make the trio enter “clean”. Fagner, who was embezzled against Santos, returns to the right side.

After debuting with a 1-0 defeat to Mirassol, coach Matheus Costa tries his first triumph ahead of Ramalhão. Santo André will have the return of Romário and Matheus Mancini, who were suspended, in addition to Marthã and Fernando Viana, who were released by the medical department. Goalkeeper Lucas Frigeri, with thigh pain, was not included in the match.

Bet 1: Corinthians wins 1.40

Even already qualified for the quarterfinals, Corinthians wants to score points to guarantee a better overall ranking. Santo André, on the other hand, has no more intentions in the competition this season. With that, playing in front of their fans, Timão is the favorite and it is a good guess to believe that Corinthians will win at Neo Química Arena.

Bet 2: Corinthians scores +1.5 goals, paying 1.72

Playing at home, Corinthians has explored the sides of the field well and has been counting on a good phase from Roger Guedes and Yuri Alberto. Therefore, facing a Santo André with no chance of qualifying, it is a good guess that Timão will score at least two goals in the game.

Bet 3: To have 9.5 corners – 1.66

Corinthians and Santo André are two teams that make a lot of use of the sides of the field for their offensive actions. In this way, we have a match in which we will probably have a high number of corner shots. Therefore, it is a good guess to believe that the game has at least ten corners scored in the total of the match.
