England and Denmark decide who takes Italy in the Euro decision

The British try to reach the unprecedented final while the Danes go in search of the bi-championship

In a little while, at 4 pm (GMT) England and Denmark face off at Wembley Stadium, in the city of London, for the semifinal of the Euro Cup. Whoever wins the duel will face Italy in the grand final, which will be next Sunday (11).

Both teams come with full strength for today’s duel. The English have yet to concede a single goal in the competition. Solid defense and attack with accurate aim. The English team scored six goals in the last two qualifying games and are once again relying on the strength of the fans in the stands to support the team on the field. Wembley should receive around 40,000 people for today’s match. England dreams of reaching the first European Cup final in all of history. Champion of the 1966 World Cup. Since then, the English team has been eliminated in four semifinals of World Cups and Euro Cups.

The Danish national team is trying to match the 1992 achievement and achieve the European Cup title. Like the English, they are also coming off two wins, 4-0 and 2-0. Denmark are trying to reach the second final and meet Eriksen again. The shirt 10 suffered a cardiac arrest in the first round, was cut, operated to install a device in the heart, and will be in the stands at Wembley.

Why bet on England?

It is undeniable that England has the most solid campaign in the competition so far: the team reached the semi-finals without conceding a single goal from their opponents. After advancing first in the treacherous Group D, the team beat Germany and ran over Ukraine without mercy in the quarter-finals in Rome.

Although some question the quality and firepower of opponents, it is undeniable that the English have a solid defensive base. What had been disappointing was the attack, but that problem seems to have disappeared: Harry Kane, top scorer in the last World Cup, was disenchanted in the knockout and is already appearing as a candidate for the Golden Boot of the tournament with three goals.

Why bet on Denmark?

Denmark is the zebra in this edition of the tournament. After a traumatic debut against Finland, by the sudden illness of Christian Eriksen, the team showed incredible collective power and continued advancing in the tournament without the main star.

To give you an idea, seven of the 11 Danish goals in the tournament were scored by different players. Aside from that atypical defeat on their debut, the only team that beat the Danes in the last 28 games was Belgium. Denmark knows very well what it’s like to beat the English at Wembley: the teams met there for the Nations League nine months ago and the victory was a wild card: 1-0 in London.
