In the first match, Ceará got the better of it and won 2-1. Volta is in the Arena

It’s decision in the base championship. Grêmio and Ceará will duel today, at 5 pm (GMT), at the Arena, in Porto Alegre, who will raise the cup for the Brazilian Championship of Aspirants, the under-23 of the teams. In the first duel, in Fortaleza, Ceará got the better of it and won 2-1, now Vozão plays for a draw to get the bichampionship.

Grêmio, directed by Cesar Lopes, comes to the final match at a minimum disadvantage, as a victory with a difference takes the decision to penalties. This, thanks to Pedro Lucas’s saving goal, already in stoppage time put the Gauchos back in the dispute. In addition to relying a lot on the ‘home’ factor, the tricolor must bet everything on its offensive tripod, formed by Elias Manoel, Vini Paulista and Wesley, who together have been on the net 21 times.

Current champion, Ceará arrives in the south in search of the bi-championship of the competition. For the return game, coach Daniel Azambuja counts on the return of Natan Masiero and defender Jefferson, who served the suspension.

About 30% of the Arena has been released for the presence of the public, who must present the vaccination document for entry into the stadium.
