With another show by Luka Doncic, who scored 42 times, Dallas opens 3 to 2 in the series
Luka Doncic returned to shine and was the name of the victory of the Dallas Mavericks over the Los Angeles Clippers by 105 to 100. Dallas came to open 14 points of advantage, but had to contain the reaction of the hosts at the end to hold the result.
The victory came thanks to another spectacular performance by Doncic, who finished with 42 points, 14 assists and 8 rebounds, but decided the match even in the 3rd period, with an incredible performance in 12 minutes. On the Clipper side, Paul George finished with 23 points, 10 rebounds and 5 blocks, and Kawhi Leonard had 20 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists and 2 blocks.
The two teams face each other again next Friday (06/04) for Game 6, in Dallas. If the Mavs win, they will advance to the playoff semifinals where they will face the Utah Jazz. A curious detail of this series is that in all the matches so far it was the visiting team that won.
