Milwaukee Bucks Could Be NBA Champion Tonight

If he wins game 6, time will win the second title in the franchise; the first was in 1971

After seeing the Phoenix Suns open 2-0 in the NBA Finals, the Milwaukee Bucks showed all of their reaction and turned a series to 3-2. In 85% of cases, the time that opened that advantage in the series ended up being champion, but Milwaukee showed that it can be another exception. With the trio formed by Giannis Antetokounmpo, Khris Middlenton and Jrue Holiday, the Bucks have managed either inverter or no favors and are now in a ring victory. At 10 pm (GMT) the two teams will face each other again for Game 6, this time in Milwaukee.

The first and only time the Bucks raised NBA earnings was in the year 1971. The franchise also boasts three Eastern Conference achievements (1971, 1974, and 2021). The Suns never won the League title. The team has two vice-championships (1976 and 1993), and also owns three Conference achievements (1976, 1993 and 2021).

To win the last game, the Bucks did very well in shooting, but they really stood out defensively once again. So much so that the play of the game was stolen from the ball by Jrue Feriado on top of Devin Booker and, without counterattack, the pass to Giannis Antetokounmpo completed the aerial bridge. By the way, the Greek star finished the night with 32 points and nine rebounds, an ‘almost double-double’, while Khris Middleton scored 29 points and Jrue Holiday, in addition to another impressive defensive performance, with three steals, was responsible for a double-double of 27 points and 13 assists. He had a 12 out of 20 on the pitch.

Meanwhile the Suns, coach Monty Williams, come under pressure. After an extremely promising start to the series, Arizona representatives will now be under pressure of having to win the last two matches to lift the old one. And this after a painful defeat at home by 123-119 in which he had 55.2% of advantage in court shots and an impressive 68.4% in three-point balls. But once again the team relied too heavily on Devin Booker.

The young star scored 40 points and reached the second game in a row with 40 points or more, joining Antetokounmpo, who achieved the feat earlier in the same series. The two and only five other players made it into the NBA Finals. But what’s been weighing heavily against the Suns is Chris Paul’s performance. The point guard (and team leader) hasn’t been playing well in recent matches and, in the last duel, he even had a double-double of 21 points and 11 assists, but again he seemed limited. Then, the one who came out better was Deandre Ayton, with a double-double of 20 points and 10 rebounds.

In the event and victory of the Suns, the seventh and final game will be next Thursday, in Arizona.
