Only two duels will be between the times of Serie A: Bahia x Atlético-MG and Atlético-PR x Atlético-GO
The clashes of the round of 16 of the Copa do Brasil were defined. In a draw held this Tuesday (22) at the headquarters of the CBF, 16 known clubs are aware of the opponents they will face in this new phase of the competition.
Only two duels will be between teams currently competing in the Brazilian Series A Championship: Bahia x Atlético-MG and Atlético-PR x Atlético-GO. A match that is also highlighted is São Paulo and Vasco.
The CBF calendar foresees that the round of 16 round-trip matches will be held between the end of July and the beginning of August. According to data and time disclosed later by the entity.
In the quarterfinals there will be a new draw to define the clashes with the ranked teams. From there, the complete switching will be defined until the decision of the Copa do Brasil.
