Spaniards hold the tie and now face Chelsea
In the reissue of the 2018 Champions League final, Real got the better of Liverpool again. Playing at Anfield, Zinedine Zidane’s team held the tie 0-0 with the English and secured the classification, since in the first match, the meringues had won 3 to 1, in Spain.
After two years of falling into the round of 16, Real Madrid has shown its prominence again. Biggest winner of the Champions League with 13 titles, the meringues are going in search of the first post-Cristiano Ronaldo era title. Now, in the semifinals, Real Madrid face Chelsea.
