Paraense lion receives the tiger from Goiás, which has a great advantage

In a little while, at 5:00 pm, Brasília time, at Mangueirão, in Belém, Remo receives Vila Nova, for the second game of the Series C final. With access already guaranteed, the two teams go in search of the Championship trophy  Brazilian, who would be the third of the Goiás team (1996 and 2015) and the second of Remo (2005).  Tigger can lose by up to three goals which still guarantees the unprecedented third championship of Terceira.  The Blue Lion needs four goals to lead to the penalty shootout or five in regular time.

In the first leg, Vila Nova was unaware of their opponents’ absences and scored a 5 to 1 goal. The Pará club did not have eleven players, five of them starting and part of the coaching staff, all of whom were away because they were with Covid-  19.  For today’s match, Leão has nine players back on the team: Rafael Jansen, Mimica, Ronald, Charles, Gelson, Dioguinho, Carlos Alberto, Salatiel and Augusto.  Five of them played in the middle of the week against Gama, for the Green Cup, to resume the game.  Technician Paulo Bonamigo, who has recovered from the coronavirus, is also back.  Following were: Marlon and Warley (Covid-19);  Dudu Mandai (posterior of the right thigh), Hélio (rectum of the left thigh).

With the cup very close, Vila Nova goes with maximum strength for the duel of the lap.  The line-up cannot be repeated by coach Márcio Fernandes because striker Talles, who scored two goals in the first leg, left the club, negotiated for Ukrainian football.  Gilsinho and Emanuel Biancucchi dispute the vacancy.
