Santos and Flamengo face each other in Vila for the 15th round of the Brasileirão

Peixe counts on the return of important players, while rubro-negro should spare holders with an eye on Wednesday’s game for Libertadores.

Santos and Flamengo face each other this Saturday, at 19:00 (Brasília time), in Vila Belmiro, in a game valid for the 15th round of Serie A of the Brazilian Championship.

Peixe is undefeated for six matches in the Brasileirão. The retrospect, however, is not the best. There are five draws and only one victory. In addition, in the last four games inside Vila Belmiro in the season, Peixe lost one and drew another three. In seventh place, with 19 points, Fabián Bustos’ team tries to get back to the G-4.

After almost an entire team of absences, Fabián Bustos should have almost the entire squad for the game against Flamengo. The coach himself, who served a suspension against Corinthians last Saturday, returns to the bench.

Despite this, the team still has absences for today’s game. Absences are three players considered starters. Madson and Maicon are recovering from injury and are in a transition phase. Rodrigo Fernández is suspended. With that, Auro, Velázquez and Camacho should remain in the team.

With the squad quite worn out because of the trip to Colombia, the tendency is for Dorival Júnior to make changes for this Saturday’s game. Pablo and Pedro get a new opportunity. With only Thiago Maia and Diego at their disposal, Dorival incorporated Igor Jesus, from the base.

(3.04) Santos vs Flamengo (2.59): predictions and prognosis

Both teams score – Yes: In principle, based on the last matches of the home and away teams, respectively, we consider that the best bet would be for both teams to score.

Under 2.5 goals: Firstly, the São Paulo team usually concedes few goals playing in their domains. Likewise, Flamengo has recently scored few goals when playing away from home. Therefore, the indicated is a bet for under 2.5 goals.

Tie: finally, the two teams come from different moments in the competition. However, Santos tries to make the home factor count again while Flamengo doesn’t have good numbers playing away from home in the last matches. Thus, the tendency is for the game to end in a draw.
