In this second tie of a tricolor duel for the Copa do Brasil, São Paulo won. After the 3×3, in Castelão, a victory would classify the winner. São Paulo opened 2×0, but Fortaleza went after the loss and drew the match. With the 2×2 in place, the dispute went to penalties and it looked like it would never end. There were 20 kicks until São Paulo managed to qualify for the quarterfinals. The opponent of the tricolor will be defined by a draw. The other clashes will begin in the middle of this week. Tuesday Botafogo receives Cuiabá, in Engenhão. On November 4th, it is Santos’ turn to receive Ceará, in Vila. Still on the 4th, Flamengo will go to Curitiba to face Athletico-PR and Corinthians will host América-MG, at the Arena. On Thursday, Palmeiras will face RB Bragantino, in Bragança, and Grêmio will host Juventude, in Porto Alegre.
