The semifinals of the Brazil Cup are defined

 Palmeiras faces América-MG and Grêmio plays São Paulo.

São Paulo once again beat Flamengo. In the last three matches, the tricolor took the best on all of them and eliminated Flamengo from the Brazil Cup. If in Maracanã the executioner of the rubro negro was the striker Brenner, this time the name was Luciano, who twice rocked Diego Alves’ net, in the victory by 3 to 0. Pablo closed the score. Vitinho missed a penalty for the rubro negro. São Paulo now faces Grêmio, who beat Cuiabá 2-0 in Porto Alegre. Diego Souza scored twice and secured the classification for the gauchos.

The 3-0 victory in the first game practically secured the semifinal spot. Raphael Veiga scored twice for Palmeiras, but Ceará did not give up and went after the loss with Vina and Tiago scoring for the Vozão.

Now Palmeiras and Grêmio are the only Brazilians who remain alive in the three competitions of the season. Internacional and Flamengo focus now only on Libertadores and the Brasileirão. Palmeiras faces América-MG and Grêmio plays São Paulo.
