Vasco and Londrina face each other in a decisive game

There’s a direct confrontation this Thursday, in Serie B of the Brasileirão. Separated by three points in the table and opponents in the search for access to the elite, Vasco and Londrina face off with the ball rolling at 21:30 (Brasilia time), in São Januário, for the 32nd round of the competition.

Cruzmaltino is in fourth place, with 48 points. This is the first of four games that Vasco will still have at home, where they are undefeated this season and have the best use since the beginning of the era of consecutive points, taking into account campaigns in Series A and B.

Jorginho should repeat the lineup for the third time in a row this Thursday and tested the same team that faced Náutico (victory) and Cruzeiro (loss). The coach seeks to give league to the team he chose to be a starter in this final of Series B. The concern, once again, is in the number of hanging: nine, being six holders.

Londrina seeks to recover after the defeat at home to Ponte Preta, 2-0, in the last match. The bet is on the good performance playing away – he is the second best visitor in Serie B, with five wins, three draws and seven defeats, a 40% advantage. In addition, Tubarão defends a small taboo in São Januário: there were two victories in two games against Vasco at the stadium (one for the 1977 Brazilian, worth a spot in the semifinals, and another last year, at the end of the first round of Serie B ).

Adilson Batista does not have forwards Leandrinho and Douglas Coutinho, both suspended. Danilo Peu should be one of the news, with Matheus Lucas and Gabriel Santos initially vying for the other spot in the attack. There is also the chance for the coach to reinforce the midfield, giving Caprini more freedom in the offensive sector. In this way, names like Eltinho or Emerson Souza are options.

Retrospect between Vasco and Londrina

Beforehand, there are eight official games between the teams, with four wins for Vasco, one draw and three wins for Londrina.

Last five matches

At first, Cuzmaltino comes from 13 wins, nine draws and nine defeats, with irregular performances and results within Serie B, in 4th place, with 48 points.

On the other hand, Londrina is in 5th place in the competition, with 45 points and is on the heels of the tournament’s rival, ready to win the spot in the direct confrontation, with 12 wins, nine draws and 10 defeats.

For Both To Score: Yes

This match should be very busy, with both teams looking for the goal. So, a goal bet for both sides is good.

Total Goals: More Than 2.5

Finally, this match should be one of many goals. Thus, the game should be very open, with many plays created by both teams.
