Home Field advantage does not matter and visitors win in the first games.
In Paraná, Flamengo relied on the good performance by goalkeeper Hugo de Souza, to secure a 1-0 victory over Athletico-PR. With a penalty saved, the goalkeeper was the name of the game, which had Bruno Henrique as the author of the single goal. The Red & Black duel will be repeated in two weeks (11/04), at Maracanã. A draw classifies Flamengo. Athletico must win by one or more goals if they want to advance. A Victory by Athletico by a single goal difference takes the match to penalties.
At the Neo Química Arena, América-MG got the better of Corinthians. Marcelo Toscano shook the net for the “Coelho”, who sank São Paulo even more in a crisis. Coach Wagner Mancini remains unsuccessful at home. The next match will be in Minas Gerais, next Wednesday (11/04). America plays for a draw. A simple victory takes the decision to penalties. To qualify, Corinthians need to win by more than one goal difference.
With the reserve team, Internacional beat Atlético-GO, at the Olympic Stadium, in Goiânia. The score of 2 to 1, left Colorado in advantage for the second game.
