With an eye on the vice-leadership of the Brasileirão, Inter faces Atlético-GO

On opposite sides of the table, Atlético-GO and Internacional face each other this Monday in a duel that ends the 27th round of the Brazilian Championship. The teams enter the field at 20:00 (Brasília time) at the Antônio Accioly stadium, in Goiânia.

Without winning in Serie A for five rounds, Atlético-GO has sunk into the relegation zone and is 19th with 22 points. Dragon comes from a 2-0 defeat to Coritiba last Sunday and is still looking for the first victory under the command of Eduardo Baptista in the Brazilian Championship. In the beginning of the preparation for the game, the fans went to the training center and protested against the bad campaign of the club, pressured to react.

The Dragon should have six team changes. Dudu, Lucas Gazal, Arthur Henrique, Rhaldney, Airton and Churín trained in the positions of Hayner, Wanderson, Jefferson, Edson Fernando, Luiz Fernando and Ricardinho.

Inter, on the other hand, comes packed for the sequence of five games unbeaten, with four victories in the period. Colorado opened the round in second place, with 46 points, and tried to start a chase in Goiânia for leader Palmeiras, eight points ahead. A stumble, however, can leave Mano Menezes’ team even outside the G-4.

Mano Menezes won absences during the week and should send a team to the field with four changes. Daniel, hit by a ball in the eye during training, and Wanderson, with pain in his right thigh, are injured and join Johnny, called up to the United States selection. Keiller, Pedro Henrique and Edenilson occupy the vacancies, respectively. With De Pena back after serving a suspension, Alan Patrick and Mauricio are vying for a spot on the team.

Both teams score: first of all, the hosts have suffered defensively, and the attack has left something to be desired. On the other hand, the visitors have scored regularly and their defense has also been a strong point. In this way, the trend is that only Colorado can score.

Under 3.5 goals: more than three goals rarely happened in the last matches of the two teams. Thus, only in two games, in the last five of the hosts, more than three goals were scored. Likewise, the visitors had more than three goals in just two matches. Therefore, the best bet, under 3.5 goals.
