Brazilian team thrashes 9-1 with four goals from Ferrão
It was a hurdle for the Brazilian team. In the debut of the Futsal World Cup, Brazil took no notice and applied a 9-1 rout over Vietnam. With the victory, the team took the lead in Group D. The Czech Republic is in second place, after beating Panama 5-1.
On the court as the favorite, Brazil debuted with goals from captain Rodrigo, four from Ferrão, two from Dieguinho, and two from Pito and Leozinho, who closed the first victory, with ease, of the Brazilian team in the world championship. As head of the group, the team still plays against the Czech Republic, on Thursday (16), at 2:00 pm (GMT), and against Panama, on Sunday (19) at 10:00 am (GMT), in the group stage of the competition.
